Can I charge my car from my solar panels?
Partly, and a battery makes it far more practical. Most cars charge overnight when the panels are doing nothing, so storage is what lets you move the daytime generation across to the car.
How many panels will fit on my roof?
It depends on the size, shape and any obstructions like chimneys or dormers. John measures it on the survey and shows you the layout before you decide anything.
What if my roof faces east and west?
That is fine and often better than people think. You get a longer, flatter generation curve across the day instead of one big midday peak, which can suit a household that is in and out.
